Most VW products sold in the USA are assembled in Mexico. Audi probably makes more cars in China, using locally manufactured parts, than Germany. My VW Golf had parts from Brazil, Hungary, Spain, etc. With the global supply chain, most products are assembled from parts made by various sub-contractors, so almost nothing is 100% made in a particular country. That's like saying everyone from a particular town/state/country is the same. Country of origin is not a good indicator of quality.
